212ths has been doing work for the Herald Leader for quite some time, so I decided I’d post a piece that we’ve done for them. This was a direct mailer promo that I designed. My goal was to make it atypical to the kind of work that they’ve done in the past.

These designs were quick turn around designs that needed to out the door within a matter of hours. The designs were done using Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Illustrator was used for the background swirls of the orange design, and the stars for the Sunday’s best design. Photoshop was used to compile and color the backgrounds for each design, and Indesign was used to compile all of the images and text for print.
Overal I’m happy with the design. If I had more time I would have reduced the amount of content used to allow for more design to be utilized.

This was an image designed for the Pheeva HTML5 game development site. The design was made using Illustrator and Photoshop. The 3D elements were designed in Illustrator and then compiled and cleaned in Photoshop.

This was a piece I did for a friend in Cleveland. I mocked up a variety of Illustrator logos, and once the logo was chosen I then had the idea that I wanted to create a 3D logo, so after trying a variety of options (C4D (still learning), Boris EFX & Illustrator) I ended up doing the 3D in Photoshop using Repousse. I like the end result, and will post flyers etc..
Had a lot of fun working on this site. I did the design and CSS and Lamar did the programming. The owners were great to work with and good people to talk to. Have a visit to see the site for yourself. Amzac Garage Doors

212ths was commissioned to design a website for Imani Family Life Center. My contribution to this project was layout and design.
Logo design for 212ths.
Layout design for Speedyspaces, a website builder for small businesses and individuals. This site was a collaboration between 212ths and Commerce Lexington. What’s shown below is the next iteration of design.
Trifold brochure design for Bluegrass Community Foundation.
This design was a logo touch up and animation posing for H20 Maestro, by way of Serif Group who contracted me out for the fine tuning and character elements.
This was a CD design produced for Navy Blu, a young Christian rapper out of Cleveland. This was the 2nd redesign for this cd. The first design incorporated a different shot that wasn’t ideal for the cover. So with direction from LTIDS, Navy Blu took a new set of photos that fit his vision for the cd.
We kept the art direction for this one simplistic and to the point.
These were two separate images that were used for front covers of sabbath school guides (bible lessons).
